One thing I did notice is that were the date code and other markings are, there is another marking that is upside down compared to the rest of the other marks. The right side of the barrel hood is just marked 45. For example the eagle, date code and antler marks are along the long part of the barrel, and then serial number is on the LEFT of the barrel hood (where as on all my USPs it's on the right side). One thing I noticed is that the placement of the markings and serial number etc is different to my original barrel. It has the eagle mark on it as opposed to the newer CIP N proofmark. To my pleasant surprise, it was an older manufactured one, BD date code. Hey all, I recently managed to find a factory USP 45 Compact threaded barrel new in bag from a stockist.
